THE NEWNAN BRUINS are an AAU boys basketball team for ages 10 to 13. The team was developed for players that would not normally get to play on an AAU team. They will not only have an
opportunity to make a team, but to also get actual playing time. Every player will receive playing time no matter the skill level.

“So many parents are against AAU teams because of various reasons like favoritism. The teams don’t have favoritism when they take the money from the parents,” said Tiffany C.
Smith, the President and CEO of the Newnam Bruins. She further states, “We won’t be all about winning
the tournaments. We will focus on improving the basketball and life skills of each player”
